Shapecamming in Torino:

Today was amazing. I saw all the fossils I wanted to see in the Natural History Museum and more (including the original Piltdown material!), had no equipment problems whatsoever, and got to talk with the anthropologist whose books got me interested in Neandertals & paleoanthropology in the first place (without excessively gushing all over him too!)

A very good day :)

I'm soooooooooo jealous. I remember Piltdown man from from U of T anthropology. I would so like to have seen all those bones.
Glad you enjoyed London. It must have been nice to be able to speak English all the time.
Did you try the steak and kidney pie?
Looking forward to hearing your voice next week. Love xoxo(;

I'm still in London! I don't go back to Paris until tomorrow. Today I wandered around Camden market & went to the Tower of London. I may go on a Jack the Ripper walking tour tonight. (I did that the last time I was in London, which may have been 10 yrs ago by now, and it was a lot of fun :)

With all the espresso I was drinking in Turin, I can't believe I managed to hold still for a photo.

I'll eat blood, but there's no way I'm going to eat kidney (even if it's in a pie.)

Daniel: No, that's me you're looking at ;)

Frida: Well, ok, I'll spare you & your husband, but only if he'll still come pick me up at the Union when I get back (it'll be at midnight on Wednesday...not too late for him, I hope? ;)

Hey Jer,

Just wishing you a great last bit of your shapecamming tour (you should get t-shirts made up, 'Shapecam Tour - Europe 2006') and a safe journey home. You must have an insane amount of data by now!

Jer

Thanks, jer! I have a lot of images, but it'll take a while to do all the reconstructions & pull out the data. It's safe to say that I won't have a life for the next little while. But as SL has said every single day to me since I was accepted into the program, "We gotta get you outta here, Jodi!"

Negritooo, amigoooo, I don't know what you're saying to meeeeeee.....parlez-vous francais???
